Carbondale Residential Efficiency Building Program - 2020 code updates

Description

In partnership with the Town of Carbondale, CLEER will host an online training addressing the changes to the residential energy efficiency program, including information on specific code updates and subsequent opportunities for increasing building performance.

Heidi McCullough, a certified Home Energy Rater with Sopris Home Energy, will review the specific changes in the residential energy code and strategies for meeting them including solutions related to envelope, HVAC, electric loads, solar, and more.

Maisa Metcalf, a Residential Energy Consultant with CLEER, will provide an overview of utility incentives, tax credits, rebates, and financing options for renewable energy and energy efficiency measures available to new construction projects in the Town of Carbondale.
