Alaska Zoo: Wild Wolverines
We’ll take a virtual trip to the Alaska Zoo, for some Arctic discoveries!

Educators from the Alaska Zoo will meet us online to show us around, share fascinating animal facts, and introduce us to the zoo’s resident wolverines!

Wolverines have a reputation for being ferocious, but there is a lot more to them than that! These misunderstood mustelids will surprise you with their advanced Arctic adaptations.

About the Alaska Zoo
The Alaska Zoo, located in Anchorage, is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting conservation of Arctic, sub-Arctic and like climate species through education, research and community enrichment. Since 1969, they have cared for orphaned and injured wildlife as the only zoo in Alaska.

This free event received partial funding support from the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
