New for Ambulatory Care Effective July 1, 2019: National Patient Safety Goal (NPSG) Addresses Direct Oral Anticoagulants
Ambulatory care medical settings such as community health centers need to take note The Joint Commission revised National Patient Safety Goal (NPSG) 03.05.01: Reduce the likelihood of patient harm due to the use of anticoagulant therapy. This session will focus on the upcoming implementation of the revised standard which becomes effective July 1, 2019. Suggestions around what areas community health care settings should be thinking about when planning for compliance will be shared during this session.
