Join us on the 10th February for a webinar in partnership with manufacturing giant, Weetabix and top law firm, Mills & Reeve (Times Best 100 Companies to Work for, 17 years running). During this event, we will gain insight into how these two successful - yet very different - businesses have navigated the challenges associated with Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in the workplace, and the successes they’ve seen as a result of making it a focal business issue.
We will hear from Danny Singh, Inclusion Ambassador at Weetabix, who will be talking about the challenges faced when the business starting looking inwardly at inclusion and how they could have a positive impact on both employee retention and attraction. Danny will take us back to the initial “Eureka Moment” of understanding that change was needed, right through to the point of recognising bias, launching various initiatives and developing a more rounded inclusive culture.
We are joined also by Natasha Broomfield-Reid, Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Manager at Mills & Reeve. Natasha will be talking about the process behind assessing Mills & Reeve’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy, with the aim of ultimately developing greater consistency and enhanced practice throughout the firm. In addition to understanding more about what initiatives and activities Mills & Reeve have implemented, Natasha will also be giving her “top tips” on how those responsible can review Diversity & Inclusion in their own organisation, with guidance on specific actions that individuals, as well as the company, can take.
