ProLiteracy recently released Advocacy Toolkit for Adult Education and Literacy: How to Increase Public and Private Support Using PIAAC Data. This toolkit, written by advocacy experts, describes how to use skills data, program activity and success, and student stories to persuade policy makers and stakeholders to support adult literacy.
In this timely webinar, David Rosen, Jackie Taylor, and Michele Diecuch, will show participants how to use PIAAC state and county estimates to advocate for support with state and local legislators, foundations and corporations, and individual donors. They will offer guidelines and tips to make the case for how adult education and literacy positively impact unemployment and economic mobility during and after the pandemic. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.
