Maximising Social Value

The introduction of the Social Value Act 2012 has increased the prominence of added value measures in procurement. A result of this has been the development of several social value calculators to assist procuring officers demonstrate the benefits of including social value objectives within projects. YORhub has partnered with the Social Value Engine to calculate the social value achieved on framework projects.

This webinar will focus on the work carried out by YORhub to calculate the social value achieved on our projects, explaining the considerations that need to be taken into account in order to accurately value achievement and how to use that information to maximise social value through procurement.

The session will include an update on our relaunched supply chain engagement programme, and the benefits this offers to subcontractors looking to supply goods and services to our framework contractors.
