Mummers Festival Virtual Printmaking Workshop
Get your creative juices flowing and try out our first-ever printmaking workshop! Printmaking is an artistic process based on the principle of transferring images from a matrix or template onto another surface, most often paper or fabric. Traditional printmaking techniques include woodcut, etching, engraving, and lithography, while modern artists have expanded available techniques to include screenprinting.

Your material kit (1 per family) will include everything you need to make a beautiful mummer print!

Not in the area? Outside the province? Outside the country?? Not to worry, we'll provide you with a material list so you can gather materials together, join us online, and still make your piece of art.

Join us for this Zoom webinar as local St. John's artist Janet Peter teaches you the basics of printmaking and helps you create your very own Mummer Print. Fun for everyone!
