Herbicide Symptomology in Trees
Welcome to the PAAM-Demic !

This is the 1st of 4 webinars sponsored by Professional Arborist Association of Mississippi (PAAM).

This presentation covers tree symptoms caused from commonly used landscape herbicides and suggestions for corrective action. The session will dive into pre & post-emergent herbicides, drift from nonselective herbicides, soil sterilant, hormonal herbicides, growth regulators and other synthesis inhibitors commonly used in the landscape. Then we will learn about diagnosing the injury when so many environmental factors can produce similar symptoms.

Speaker: Dr. Brady Self, Associate Extension Professor / Forestry Herbicide Specialist at Mississippi State University. He has worked with forest herbicides and seen the effects from incorrect use, 'too much of a good thing, CAN lead to something bad'.
