He then went on to complete an internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey and completed a residency in anesthesia and critical care at the University of California, Davis. He became board certified in 2017. He participated in a fellowship focusing on anesthesia and pain management for zoo and wildlife species at Brookfield Zoo. His interests include anesthesia of zoo and exotic animals, pain management and locoregional anesthesia. Dr. Khursheed Mama (DVM DACVAA @Colorado State University) Dr. Mama received her DVM from Washington State University, completed her internship at the University of Guelph and Residency in anesthesia and critical patient care at UC Davis. She is currently a faculty member at Colorado State University. She enjoys managing anesthesia for a variety of species while also teaching DVM and graduate students. Her research interests are directed at improving patient care and safety. She feels fortunate that as part of her job she has had the opportunity to advance anesthesia and pain management through continuing education for veterinarians and technicians in many different venues both nationally and internationally. Dr. Joy Tseng (DVM DACVAA @Crown Veterinary Specialists) Dr. Chia (Joy) Tseng became a Board Certified Specialist in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2019 after completing her residency training at Cornell University. She currently practices in Northern New Jersey. Dr. Tseng’s special interests in veterinary anesthesia include acute pain management, locoregional anesthesia, and delivering anesthesia education to various audience. Dr. Tseng previously served on American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia Committees and is currently the Co-Chair of the NAVAS Education Committee. Dr. Gianluca Bini (DVM DACVAA @The Ohio State University) Dr. Gianluca Bini graduated from the University of Perugia, Italy. He then moved to the United Kingdom, where he completed two internships, one in anesthesia and one rotating, at Dick White Referrals, one of the largest referral centers in Europe. He completed his residency at North Carolina State University and is currently an Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology and Pain Management at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
