Connecting the Continents, Connecting the Cultures
Join Accelerate Yale for a conversation with Lucia Brawley MFA ‘02, Co-Founder of AMP Global Technologies, a technology-driven media enterprise based in Africa. AMP (https://www.amp.it/) turns culture into currency for those who set the trends through the Take Back The Mic (TBTM) content platform. She will discuss how culture creators and trendsetters have historically been left out of the value chain they create. She will also share information on the company’s initiative to provide high-speed internet to young Africans so they can compete with their peers in the global marketplace and devise their own solutions to local problems. She’ll also discuss the company’s fundraising journey as underrepresented founders.

The conversation will be led by Wendy Maldonado D'Amico '93, Director of Accelerate Yale and Yale Angels. This conversation will be recorded and shared with all registrants.
