Do you find yourself helping your child with hearing loss navigate social obstacles at school or in your community? Does your child come home exhausted or upset after play dates? This webinar explores common social challenges that children who are deaf and hard of hearing face when interacting and communicating with others using listening and spoken language. You will hear directly from students, families and professionals about their experience with social challenges and how to overcome them. Attendees will learn strategies to be proactive in giving their children tools to gain awareness of how their hearing loss impacts them and to advocate for their needs in social settings.
