In the Decade of Action to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals, the need for increased government and business ambition is clear. The COVID-19 pandemic has revealed weaknesses in our societies and economies but provides us with an opportunity to build back better and realise the SDGs as a framework to help us recover better together from the pandemic. Now is the time for all stakeholders to raise their ambition for people, planet, and prosperity — taking action across all of the Global Goals and at a scale that can create the tipping points for the world we want.
This event will enable a high-level discussion with government representatives and business leaders on how to build back better from the pandemic with the SDGs and deliver ambitious action to achieve the 2030 Agenda.
