Presented by: Ken Heuvelman MS, CAADC, DP-S
Treatment is a broad term often misused or misunderstood by those who are not addiction professionals. This training should help individuals understand what kind of treatment is available and how to determine which treatment is most appropriate. It will cover the continuum of care as identified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and the Six Dimensions of Multidimensional Assessment. The presentation will cover common client concerns and how to appropriately organize biopsychosocial information in order to refer a client to the most appropriate level of care.
