In the first webinar of a three-part series, Patrick Clark and Dave McLain will provide an overview of what has made packaging sustainability a priority for many consumers, brands, retailers and policymakers. McLain and Clark will provide background on events that have transpired over the last several years to move the issue to the forefront and will layout the challenges and opportunities that exist with sustainability and snack packaging. The session will also highlight various future goals from CPG companies and retailers and set the stage for potential solutions to improve sustainability.

David McLain is currently based in Atlanta at Printpack’s global headquarters, and he has spent several years in Marketing and Sales focused on Printpack’s PE business and sustainability. McLain has also served as a member of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition’s Executive Committee and the Plastics Industry Association’s Sustainability Advisory Board. He now leads Printpack’s efforts to help customers realize a more sustainable future. Patrick Clark is the Vice President of Research and Development with Bryce Corporation. Clark and his team are responsible for continuing the Bryce family commitment to developing innovative solutions in flexible packaging. Patrick Clark has a degree in Packaging from Michigan State University, and fifteen years of experience working in various roles in the food manufacturing and flexible packaging industries.
