Description

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Wind Energy Technologies Office (WETO) will present a diversified portfolio of early-stage offshore wind research and development research including efforts to advance floating offshore wind on the West Coast. This webinar will feature presentations and discussions on federally funded R&D to advance floating offshore wind technology, analyze the techno-economic potential, and address siting, environmental, workforce development, and grid integration opportunities. The webinar will also highlight work from two WETO-funded projects focused on offshore wind technology and cost modeling, and grid topics.
