This episode will feature Professor Martin Marshall CBE, Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners and former Deputy Chief Medical Officer, speaking about general practice and the pandemic.
In a conversation with RSM President Professor Roger Kirby, the two will look at how general practice was positioned at the start of the crisis, how it responded to the need for infection control, and the support general practice has provided for acute covid sufferers, vulnerable patients, and those with long COVID.
The session will also cover how the redesign of GP services is playing out, the role of general practice in test and trace and immunisation, and what key lessons have been learnt from the COVID crisis.
