Following the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by a police officer in Ferguson, MO in August 2014, protest erupted. A group of female clergy from St Louis-- Christian and Jewish-- began to gather together, first in the streets and then later for shared study. As chants of #BlackLivesMatter turned to #FromFergusontoPalestine, the group did as well. Deep dialogue led to travel, bringing the group from Ferguson to Israel and the Palestinian territories. On this call, we will hear from two members of the group, Rev. Dr. Karen Anderson and Rabbi Andrea Goldstein, who will share the story of their transformational journey.
