Let us play - children’s mental health during COVID-19: what can research tell us?
This webinar is for anyone interested in children and young people's mental health (e.g.: educators, parents, carers, peer supporters, researchers, practitioners, youth workers etc). It will be particularly helpful for those working in schools as they prepare to support children to return.

The aim of the webinar is to share what research tell us about the importance of play for children's mental health and wellbeing. We will summarise what we know from reliable research and explore the practical implications for children, young people and their families right now.

We will be guided by what is on your mind so let us know the questions and topics you'd like us to focus on when you register.

The Emerging Minds network is delighted to welcome Prof Helen Dodd and Dr Wendy Russell as our expert speakers for this online event.

Emerging Minds is a mental health research network funded by UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) with the aim of encouraging research across sectors and disciplines. We want to reduce the prevalence of mental health problems amongst children and young people through mental health promotion, prevention and early treatment.
