Lior Drukker
Fetal Medicine Clinical Research Fellow @University of Oxford
Lior Drukker is an academic fetal medicine expert shaping his time between clinical work at the Fetal Medicine Unit, Women's Centre, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and research at the Nuffield Department of Women's and Reproductive Health at the University of Oxford. His main research project is the Perception Ultrasound by Learning Sonographer PULSE uses Artificial Intelligence to teach a medicine how sonographers scan, aiming to improve pregnancy imaging analysis for clinical purposes and to develop considerably more powerful assistive interpretation methods of obstetric scanning. Owing to his intensive computer science as well as fetal medicine expertise, in the PULSE project, Lior holds the interdisciplinary position of bringing between engineers and physicians. Before moving to Oxford, he studied medicine at Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel and completed training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel.
