Jessica Bonilla-Damptey
Director @Sexual Assault Centre (Hamilton and Area) (SACHA)
Jessica Bonilla-Damptey is a Latinx/Indigenous woman from El Salvador, living and raised in Hamilton.She is the Mother of 2, Tia of 3 and Madrina of 3. She is often involved in community based projects and believes that it is important to include children in those projects. Hikes, dance parties, sorbet, being in water and in hammocks are some of her favourite things. A graduate of the School of Social Work, Indigenous Studies and Health Studies Programs at McMaster University, she committed to and works to creating a world without violence and oppression.
Neha Shah
Director @Women and Gender Equity Network (WGEN)
Neha is a fourth year student in the undergraduate Health Sciences program. Sheis also the Director of the student union's Women and Gender Equity Network, a peer support service for women, trans, and non-binary folks, and all survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
Debbie Owusu-Akyeeah
Executive Director @Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity (CCGSD)
Debbie Owusu-Akyeeah is an award-winning Black feminist with over 8 years of local and international advocacy experience through feminist initiatives in the Ottawa-Gatineau region and through working at Oxfam Canada and Global Affairs Canada. She became the new Executive Director at the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity (CCGSD) in July 2020. The Centre promotes diversity in gender identity, gender expression, and romantic/sexual orientation in all its forms on a national level through services in the areas of education and advocacy.
Sandra Montour
Executive Director @Ganohkwasra Family Assault Support Services
Sandra Montour is the Executive Director of Ganohkwasra Family Assault Support Services located on the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. She is also the President of the Aboriginal Shelters of Ontario.
