Dr Davies is an RCVS and American Specialist in Veterinary Oncology with a passion for improving the treatment of animals with cancer. He was appointed a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Oncology (2018), and was previously awarded Membership of the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in small animal medicine (2012). Owen holds a Master’s degree based on research on canine lymphoma and was appointed as an RCVS Specialist in March 2019. Owen graduated from Cambridge University in 2005 and worked in general practice for almost 10 years before becoming an oncology resident at the Royal Veterinary College. After his residency term ended Owen began his current role as medical oncology specialist at Highcroft Referrals in Bristol. He is interested in all aspects of oncology, in particular haematopoietic malignancies, haemangiosarcoma and paraneoplastic disease. “Understanding Cancer in Dogs”
