HERESY OR CODSWALLOP: Ashley Bickerton in conversation with Gregory Galligan
Join art historian Gregory Galligan in conversation with Ashley Bickerton, on the works presented in his solo exhibition ‘Heresy or Codswallop’, at Gajah Gallery Singapore.

The discussion will explore the ideas and process behind Bickerton's diverse body of work, peering into the central themes that have driven his practice throughout the years - and his position in the context of contemporary Southeast Asian art.

Galligan’s essay ‘We Always Go Back’, titled after one of Bickerton’s paintings, will be published in the exhibition catalog, which is available for purchase at https://gajahgallery.com/product/ashley-bickerton-heresy-or-codswallop/.

'Ashley Bickerton: Heresy or Codswallop' runs from 20 January - 14 February 2021 at Gajah Gallery Singapore.

The conversation will be held on Zoom, from 5 - 6 pm on Thursday 28th January 2021, and is limited to 100 participants. A short Q&A session will be offered to attendees at the end of the dialogue.
