The NNCC Learning Collaborative will review national rates of opioid use disorder and hepatitis C virus. Presenters will review different HCV testing and treatment models from various health settings and locations. Content experts will also discuss how programs have started to integrate substance use disorder treatment, specific to the opioid crisis. Participants in the virtual learning collaborative will attend four (4) learning sessions consisting of live web-based platform training and facilitated office hours on Tuesdays throughout October through early December of 2019 and will take place via the Zoom video conferencing platform.
1. Iowa Department of Public Health will review current substance use disorder rates in Iowa and surveillance to eliminate HIV and HCV throughout the state.
2. To discuss the implementation of enhanced HIV/HCV screening and linkage to care in five health centers in Iowa. Presenters will discuss barriers and successes to improve programs.
