More Than Meets the Eye

Director Timothy Rub discusses the recently published catalogue "American Furniture 1650-1840: Highlights from the Philadelphia Museum of Art" with author and curator Alexandra Kirtley. Chairs, tables, and chests to some were dynamic sculptures to early American artisans and patrons. Hear the stories of how and why they were made and how and why they came to the collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
