THETA Collaborative is pleased to invite THETA Collaborative is pleased to invite Hamid Sadri, PharmD, MSc Hamid Sadri, PharmD, MSc. He has more than 25 year experience in healthcare sector internationally at progressive positions in healthcare management consulting, the pharmaceutical industry, academia and medical devices. Hamid currently works at Medtronic as the director of Health Economics and HTA following 15 years as director of medical affairs and Outcomes Research in the pharmaceutical industry and research organizations. Hamid has an advanced degree in clinical pharmacy and the graduate degree in Health Economics from the University of Toronto. He has several publications in peer-reviewed journals for HEOR in various therapeutic areas including neuromodulation, diabetes, cardiovascular, complemented with several poster/podium presentations at international and national conferences.
The next era for HTA is close collaboration with between all stakeholders. The complexity of medical devices due to the integration of IT, IS, Drug, Device and change of point of care require various consideration that goes beyond the traditional HTA and the current capacity of HTA agencies. Data availability, analysis and interpretation may require closer collaborations between academia, industry and payers. We examine examples, where this collaboration facilitates the HTA process and ultimately benefiting the patients.
