Special Webinar (Session 2): Cities contribution to the 1.5 °C climate goal - Feedback Reports
To help concentrate ambition and catalyze action, the One Planet City Challenge (OPCC) supports participant cities to show that they have science-based emissions reduction targets that align with a 1.5 °C future and are supported by evidence-based climate action planning.

The OPCC pre-screening assessment reports highlight whether mitigation actions align with the main emissions sectors and whether adaptation actions map effectively to climate risks. This automated process is designed not only to highlight the best performers but also to provide early feedback to each participating city suggesting how they can develop their climate ambition and action.

In this WWF Cities tutorial, we will review the origin, structure, and use of the prescreening report. It is hoped that after this tutorial OPCC participant cities learn how to interpret the content of these reports.

In preparation of this tutorial, It is recommendable to review OPCC Webinar #4 "Science-based targets for cities, evidence-based climate action planning, the One Planet City Challenge, and the Paris Agreement" (for more info see: https://bit.ly/2WfvDuM).
