Webinar: The vast possibilities of Agent-Based Modelling
ABM Lab is a flexible numerical laboratory used to define agents, their behaviour and states. ABM Lab offers the unique integration of agent-based modelling with classical water quality and hydrodynamic modelling making it possible to address questions beyond the scope of more traditional water quality and ecological models.

What you can expect:
During this free 45-minute webinar, you will learn why ABM Lab is the tool of choice for agent-based modelling. We will demonstrate the main benefits of the ABM Lab module and highlight the possibilities of agent-based models while demonstrating how ABM Lab can facilitate the development of new ABMs.

We will reveal the realm of application possibilities and demonstrate how to expand ABM Lab to a number of user-defined models as well as the ease of coupling the software to your projects for powerful results!

TOPICS

• Fundamentals of ABM Lab
• The possibilities of agent-based modelling
• Ecosystem and population modelling

LARS O. MORTENSEN
Spatial Ecologist @DHI
Lars has a research background in ecosystem ecology including multiple ecosystem types, ranging from high arctic to subtropical zones. He also has extensive knowledge of statistical modelling. His current focus is on the application of agent-based models and species distribution models to the impact of anthropogenic noise on marine life. Lars holds a PhD degree in ecosystem ecology from Aarhus University, Denmark.
