Action on accountability: Lessons learnt and the way forward beyond the N4G Summit
The Global Nutrition Report (GNR), Access to Nutrition Initiative (ATNI) and RESULTS UK (RUK) proudly invite you to join us for an interesting and important discussion on the outcomes of the Tokyo Nutrition for Growth Summit and the future of nutrition accountability.

Following the Tokyo Nutrition for Growth Summit, the GNR, ATNI and RUK will once again convene a meeting of stakeholders from all constituencies to come together and reflect upon the Summit. This will be an opportunity to take stock of the commitments made - celebrating the tremendous effort from all participants - to discuss the key takeaways and learnings from the Summit and explore the future of accountability, engaging with key accountability mechanisms to understand the way forward for progress on nutrition and strengthened accountability.

To open the event, we will hear reflections from the Government of Japan which will touch upon the outcomes of the Summit. Following this address, the GNR will deliver a short presentation which will provide a brief overview of the commitments made and will give a taster of what 2022 looks like for the GNR and the Nutrition Accountability Framework.

We will then move to a panel discussion formed of two sections - the first half of the panel will focus on engaging with the chairs of the Thematic Working Groups to share their reflections on the Summit. Building on these reflections, the second half of the panel will invite representatives from existing accountability mechanisms to discuss key learnings.

In addition to this, the second panel will also discuss the importance of creating critical synergies between mechanisms and will explore what the future of accountability looks like. The GNR will wrap up by delivering closing remarks.

There will be a live illustrator present during the event to capture the discussion and bring to life the success of the Summit and the future of accountability.
