At the end of the 19th century, the artists of the Art Nouveau period, among other creations, reworked historical letters by stretching and deforming them to give them roundness and fill spaces. By taking inspiration from the forms created at that time and by adding others, we will try to obtain a balance that respects the breathing of the text in order to obtain compositions that are balanced and avoid, for example, caesura at the end of the lines.
The course is open to everyone, experienced calligraphers or beginners.
