Know Your Rights: Assignment, Transfer, and Staff Reduction

Many schools are in the midst of planning their staffing for school year 2021–22, accounting for possible changes in line assignments and potential reductions in the total number of teachers due to looming budget cuts.

On Monday, Jan. 18, at 4 p.m., HSTA will host a “Know Your Rights” webinar to provide essential information regarding your rights and the processes and procedures connected with assignments and transfers for school year 21–22, and what happens if there is a reduction in the number of teacher positions at your school or worksite. HSTA Deputy Executive Director Andrea Eshelman will answer your questions after presenting a slideshow and overview.
