Health care delivery and financing in the United States are rapidly changing. Data analytics is becoming an increasingly valuable competency for healthcare administrators to make timely and appropriate decisions for disease prevention, performance improvement, and population health management. Four MHA programs located in the Midwest, South and the West region of the US have developed and implemented analytics learning content and activities that are embedded within their respective curricula. This session will begin with a brief overview of analytics learning content and activities and their development and implementation strategies. Thereafter, the audience will participate in small group discussions to share their experiences and best practices with respect to teaching analytics with the facilitation by workshop presenters.
