BOCC Meeting - 01/21/2021

Public Comments for the January 21, 2021 Board of County Commissioners meeting will be accepted “live” as a trial for the virtual BOCC meeting for those who have preregistered. Please complete the registration form and click on “Register.” After completing the registration, you will receive an email notice late Wednesday afternoon regarding the status of your registration. Instructions on joining and speaking at the virtual meeting will be included in the email notice.

During its regular business meeting, the Board of County Commissioners accepts public comments concerning the business of county government. During the portion of the meeting designated for public comments, remarks should be related to county government business. Comments during a public hearing or an agenda item should be related to the specific hearing or item. Speakers should not expect Commissioners to respond to their comments directly during the meeting.

Speakers are encouraged to be professional, concise, courteous, and respectful. Comments should be addressed to the Board of County Commissioners as a whole. Speakers are encouraged to not make personal attacks. Speakers should refrain from obscene, profane, slanderous, insulting or threatening remarks.

Speakers should avoid repeating prior speakers. Speakers who agree with or wish to make the same comments as a previous speaker should simply state their agreement with the comments of that previous speaker.
