Jennifer A. Sipos is a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Benign Thyroid Disorders Program at Ohio State University. She obtained her medical degree and Internal Medicine residency training at Wake Forest University. She completed an Endocrinology Fellowship at University of North Carolina. She has developed an interest in the use of ultrasound for the diagnosis and management of thyroid nodules and cancer and has taught at numerous US courses worldwide, including meetings for the Endocrine Society, American Thyroid Association, European Thyroid Association, American Association for Clinical Endocrinologists, Asia & Oceania Thyroid Association, Indian Endocrine Society & International Society of Endocrinology. She is active in several research projects with an interest in the use of molecular markers in thyroid nodule evaluation. She is an invited member of the International Thyroid Nodule Ultrasound Working Group to create a unified system of thyroid nodule risk stratification.
