The FVPSA (Family Violence Prevention and Services Act) Government-to-Government is a two day virtual meeting to build meaningful relationships with federally recognized tribes receiving FVPSA funding by engaging in open, continuous, and meaningful consultation. The FVPSA Program is inviting Tribal leaders to provide verbal and written testimony on the allocation of FVPSA grant awards for Tribes. The FVPSA Program will also invite Tribal leaders to give verbal and written testimony on establishing a minimum grant award of $55,000 for each Tribe that applies for FVPSA funding. Establishing a higher minimum base award for each Tribe that applies for FVPSA funding is needed to help smaller Tribes meet the needs of 40,000 women, men, and children, at minimum, seeking their services each year.
*This meeting will be recorded, participating is considered your permission for FVPSA to share the video of your participation in the meeting.
