Better World Cafe: The Social Dilemma and Mental Health
Social media opened a whole new world and scale of connections among humans around the world. While the benefits are obvious in terms of increased collaborations, freedom of expression and exposure to a diversity of opinions, the flipside is also - true- bullying, addiction, run-away self-centeredness to name only a few.

Recently, creators of the algorithms of social media platforms came out in Netflix’s The Social Dilemma to let us all know that persuasive technology was designed to really hook us and appeal to our worst impulses. This is taking a serious toll on our mental health in the way we live in the many roles we have.

Join psychologists Dr. Regina Hechanova-Alampay and Dr. Richie Parr for a conversation on the connections between social media and mental health issues.
