Consider that you, the client, have a current unhealthy pattern or behavior. This behavior seems to have a force all its own. No matter what you try to do the pattern continues and your frustration mounts. Imagine that this behavior is like a river: It constantly flows without an end in sight. It’s taking you one direction and yet, as you sit in your boat, you can see that off in the distance there’s someplace you’d rather be.
With hypnotherapy, you can learn to “flow to your goals” instead of just “going with the flow.” Through self-hypnosis or with the guidance of a practitioner, you can construct positive new thoughts, feelings and behaviors and interrupt the old flow of energy and redirect your river in a more positive way.
