The Paycheck Protection Program is part of the $349 billion federal stimulus package contained in the CARES Act which was signed into law on March 27. This stimulus program is designed to provide special loan funding small and mid-sized companies in this time of crisis which is forgivable within certain guidelines. In the current economic environment, every private company should understand how the program works, the resources available to them and how to go about accessing them.
