Manhattan Community Board Six - Coronavirus Vaccine Town Hall - 01/14/2021

Presenters at the town hall will include:

Dr. William Moss, who will speak about the COVID-19 vaccines. He is the Executive Director of the International Vaccine Access Center, and a Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Rupali Limaye, who will speak to issues of Vaccine Hesitancy. She is the Director of Behavioral and Implementation Science at the International Vaccine Access Center, and is also at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Denise Benkel and Pauline Ferrante, who will speak about COVID-19 vaccine allocation and distribution. Dr. Benkel works for the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene’s Bureau of Immunization while Ms. Ferrante is the Manhattan Liaison for the Department’s Office of External Affairs.

Dr. Sabrina Felson, who will speak about the clinical trials that have gone on for the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as safety and efficacy regarding the vaccines. She is at the at the NYU Langone Vaccine Center.
