About this Event
This webinar will introduce the background and reasoning behind King County’s draft strategic plan to promote early identification of children with developmental concerns or delays and connect them with timely and appropriate supportive services. After learning about the current status of developmental screening and referral practices in King County, early care, education, and health care professionals will be given ideas on how to implement best practices of developmental screening and appropriate referral in their settings.
1) Describe best practices for performing developmental screening using appropriate cultural and linguistic adaptations.
2) Describe best practices for routinely making supportive service referrals for families who have been identified to have a child with a developmental delay.
