This presentation addresses the identification, biology & control of some of the more common insect pests of urban trees in the Southeastern U.S.
Speaker: Dr. Blake Layton, Entomology Specialist at Mississippi State University.
His primary responsibilities include developing recommendations and conducting educational programs on the management and control of insect pests. These pests can affect ornamental and vegetable plants, as well as household and structural insect pests, or those on forage crops. Blake received his Ph.D. from Louisiana State University in 1988 and joined the MSU faculty that same year.
