Debating the issues around CO2 as a refrigerant and answering industry questions.
For the latest in its Question Time Extra Time series, RAC is assembling another online panel of experts to discuss the hot topic of using CO2 as a refrigerant.
The event, sponsored by Panasonic, will take place on World Refrigeration Day as we celebrate the industry with a discussion on sustainable cooling.
Our panel offers a variety of different experience in the application of CO2, including technology specialists, contractors, consultants and end users. Among the experts represented is John Skelton, refrigeration manager for Marks and Spencer, who has done much to embed the CO2 model into UK retail refrigeration.
The 90 minute session will feature presentations on the development of CO2 as a refrigerant and a case study at sushi wholesaler Tanpopo, followed by discussion around the practicalities, opportunities and challenges of introducing CO2 systems into supermarkets and beyond.
The event will also feature an introduction from World Refrigeration Day founder Stephen Gill.
You will hear from:
Alfredos Armaos, Panasonic
Jaume Casanovas, Panasonic
Xavier Debray, Versan
Steve Gill, World Refrigeration Day
John Skelton, Marks and Spencer
