Community Placemaking Grants Information Session

Public spaces are key to health, social connection, and resilience. Yet many communities lack access or have little say in how their public spaces are designed, programmed, and managed. Project for Public Spaces’ Community Placemaking Grants aim to help address this inequality by supporting public space transformation projects that engage and improve the experience of underserved members of the community.

In this informational webinar, the Project for Public Spaces team will review:
• Goals of the Community Placemaking Grants initiative;
• Funding, technical assistance, and other support provided by the grant;
• Community-based planning process and the grantee experience; and
• Application timeline, eligibility, and evaluation criteria.

We will also answer questions from participants about the application process and the grant opportunity.
