Tom Oddie
VP, Canadian Personal Banking Data and Analytics @TD Bank
Tom currently leads the data and analytics department for TD's Retail Bank in Canada, helping to realize the team's vision to 'Make analytics a competitive advantage for the bank'. Tom is a career data scientist, with a post graduate degree in Statistics from the University of Warwick (UK) and having worked in advanced analytics functions within Capital One's 'Information Based Strategy Organization for 10 years. Tom Joined TD in March 2016, bringing his experience in statistical analysis and business problem solving to TD's Personal Bank Analytics team and now leads the Data Management, Governance, Business Intelligence, Strategic Analytics and Geo Spatial capabilities.
Philip Santo
Senior Director, Banking and Payments @RBC
Philip leads the Banking Transformation Strategy at RBC, as well as the analytics team supporting Banking and Payments. Prior to joining the Banking and Payments organization at RBC in 2019, Philip held various leadership positions for retail lending products. Most recently, Philip led Retail Credit Strategies for Automotive Finance and Personal Lending, as well as Retail Risk Modelling at RBC. Prior to joining RBC, Philip led Capital One Canada’s Line Management Program, and the Mainstreet Product Strategy. He was also an accredited Model Risk Officer at Capital One. Philip began his career in Management Consulting and worked with various clients in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing and postal service industries to optimize their sales and marketing strategies. Philip holds a BASc, Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Susan Duffy
VP Risk, CAMLO, CPO @Financeit
In her current role, Susan is the VP Risk at Financeit, a point-of-sale consumer finance company. She is responsible for developing and driving the company’s strategic risk management vision and framework. She has over 20 years experience in consumer and small business credit risk management developing and implementing advanced decisioning models and strategies across the credit life cycle. Prior to joining Financeit, Susan worked at Scotiabank where she was responsible for risk strategy and automation for the Canadian retail and small business portfolios. She also spent 7 years working for Experian Canada in a variety of roles including the General Manager for Experian’s Canadian office. Susan is currently on the Board of Directors for the Credit Scoring & Risk Strategy Association. She holds an MBA from McGill University and an Honors B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.
