Jason Leopold is an Emmy nominated investigative reporter on the BuzzFeed News investigations team and a member of the reporting team named a 2018 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in international reporting and the recipient of the Tom Renner award from Investigative Reporters and Editors for the same series. He is also a recipient of the IRE FOI award and was inducted into the National Freedom of Information Hall of Fame by the First Amendment Coalition and Newseum.
Adam Marshall
Knight Foundation litigation attorney @Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press
Adam's work includes litigation in federal and state courts, writing amicus briefs, and training journalists. He is the co-author of a chapter on the federal FOIA in Troubling Transparency (Columbia University Press, 2018), along with Katie Townsend. Adam a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award and the GW Law Pro Bono Service Recognition Award.
Gunita Singh
Jack Nelson/Dow Jones Foundation legal fellow @Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press
Gunita Singh works on litigation, policy, and amicus work, primarily around state and federal freedom of information laws while also helping reporters and news organizations with records requests. Gunita received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
