As a collaboration between the Offshore Group, IOSH Scotland, and the Essex Branch, we have the honour and privilege to bring you Joe Meanen, a survivor of the Piper Alpha Disaster, still considered the world’s worst offshore oil rig disaster.
One week after the 32nd year anniversary, Joe will take us on a journey of how he survived and discuss how major disaster can affect your life after the event. This disaster not only changed how the oil industry approached health and safety going forward, but it also still has a real impact on the lives of those involved, including PTSD.
This webinar will interest those with a vested interest in the oil and gas industry, health and safety, emotional and psychological resilience, or those who believe in learning from the tragedies of our past.
IMPORTANT: Please note this webinar will not be recorded and is only available to view live.
