Building Your Nonprofit’s Engagement Engine

Description

This workshop will be led by the CEO of Big Duck, Sarah Durham on how nonprofit communicators and marketers reach and engage their organization’s target audiences. This session will focus on identifying who your audiences are, how to prioritize them, and other elements key to developing a smart communications strategy. We will also talk about how to manage in a crisis or unpredictable time (such as this) versus building a longer-term engagement practice.

Participants will:

- learn what mindshare is
- how to develop a clear engagement strategy
- what successful communications outcomes for a nonprofit should be
- what elements are required to generate them

She founded Big Duck in 1994 to help nonprofits increase their visibility, raise money, and communicate more effectively. In 2019, she acquired Advomatic, which builds and supports websites for nonprofits. She spends her days guiding these businesses and talking with nonprofit leaders about their communications.
