Martina Rowley has two decades of experience as a corporate Executive Assistant. After a few
short years of working in the environmental sector (her field of passion), she graduated from
the now cancelled Ontario Self Employment Benefits program in 2012 and started her journey
as a business owner.
After 2 years of starting and operating a co-working space in east Toronto, the Beach Business
Hub, she switched to a more affordable format as a home-based Virtual Business Service under
the name Martina Rowley And Company.
Her business supports a wide range of small business owners in Canada and beyond and
focuses increasingly on business and project management. She has one VA subcontractor, who
Martina’s qualifications include: A Diploma as Office Administrator from back in 1985, a
Certificate as Interpreter in Industry and Commerce in German and English, an Honours Degree
in Environmental Studies, and she is a Certified Canadian VA.
Her goal in 2018 is to determine and grow her true niche, add a second VA to her team, and
further fine-tune her client support services so she can earn more and work less to have more
personal time for gardening, volunteering, fitness, and travelling more again.
