The National PREA Resource Center awarded the Victim Rights Law Center a mini-grant to convene two national focus groups to learn from community-based victim service providers about their successes and challenges with providing confidential services to survivors of sexual assault who are confined. The PREA Standards require facilities to offer support services to these survivors "in as confidential a manner as possible."
Attend this webinar to learn what advocates from around the country shared about providing confidential services to sexual assault survivors in confinement and how the focus group findings can help other victim service providers provide support in as confidential manner as possible.
This webinar is targeted to community-based victim service providers who support sexual abuse survivors in confinement or are interested in starting this work. However, anyone working in confinement settings or collaborate with correctional facilities to eliminate sexual abuse in confinement is welcome.
