LKG WEB WORKSHOP: WHO AM I? Well Being and Identity in the Early Years
How do we support children’s sense of self through a blended learning approach? Join us for a virtual workshop where we will delve into theory and practical strategies to create an environment of connected and authentic learning.

If you are a DECE, Kindergarten, Grade 1-2 Teacher, join us to explore learning invitations and provocations to support students’ emotional well-being.

Participants will engage with the how and why of self-regulation and well being and its relationship to fostering identity and a sense of belonging. They will gain a deeper understanding of self-regulation and unpack the myths and misconceptions of this concept. Educators will also leave with practical ideas and ways to support students with developing self regulation and well being skills in the classroom through the concept of self.

There will be both indoor and outdoor provocations and learning invitations that promote the development of self-regulation and well being among students through an interdisciplinary focus (e.g. math, literacy, science, physical education, STEAM).

The presentation will highlight the connection between self regulation and well being and identity, and how we can foster a sense of belonging for our students through holistic approach.
