Speakers

Phil Hoyle
Head of Pioneer School, CCX
Phil Hoyle is a pioneer priest and member of the 'Room' Community in Shepherds Bush. As an Islington Associate, Phil helps support the network of missional communities springing up across London and beyond, as well as heading up the School of Pioneers with Mark Bishop.
Paul Bradbury
Pioneer Hub Coordinator
Paul Bradbury leads Poole Missional Communities which hosts a number of pioneering and church planting initiatives. He is also involved in teaching, training and writing on the subject of mission and the church. He has written two books on pioneer ministry, most recently Home By Another Route (BRF 2019). He was then involved in church plants in London which were focused on mission. But his call towards pioneer ministry emerged more strongly when he was a curate in a fairly ordinary parish in Southampton. The disconnect between most parish activities and the majority of people at the school gates weighed heavily on him. The most significant project he led involved him taking over a disused shop in the area, transforming it into a gallery space and running an exhibition that told the story of the prodigal son.
